Big Book: Pages for Peace T-Shirt
Goes out of this world aboard Space Shuttle Discovery

Bookmakers and Dreamers Club members were in awe as Astronaut Joe Acaba visited the Groton-Dunstable Regional Middle School. He was one of the seven crew members aboard the shuttle Discovery that completed an important mission in March of 2009 involving the installation of the final two solar arrays on the international space station. Acaba's visit included the showing of a video and he described details of the successful mission that accomplished the installation of the arrays, allowing the space station to be operational at full power for the first time.

As a special treat for the members of the Bookmakers and Dreamers Club, Acaba also packed one of their club t-shirts aboard the Discovery for the 5,313,565 mile trip and returned the shirt to club members during the special school assembly, along with a special NASA certificate validating its journey.
